yeah thats what mind did.. but I used krill and it just spit it all over for the most part ha.
but hey its a step right?

how long did it take you to get him on frozen?

Be sure to clean up after him or your going to have big problems with the water quality. Krill is not a good staple food.

yeah, ive never tried krill, i stick to market shrimp, alot of protein. and i also dont feed mine everyday. my congos get feed about 3 times a week, and thats with ghost shrimp in the tank. they eat like one of those every couple of days, my fahaka is getting feed every other day now.

i just got some frozen shell of shrimp..
like 13 bucks worth so it better like them..

make sure you dont thaw them in the microwave. it loses a lot of nutrients, and also deshell and tail them

I leave the shell & tail on. Good for their teeth. Defrost in tank water with a good liquid fish vitamin.

well they were the large ones... and I put a piece in tail and shell in the tank overflow today..
after trying to "attack" him with it.. no dice.

i think you trying to often. i put about 5 ghost shrimp in each congo tank, they last for a few days normally. then ill try the shrimp. works for me.
