Did they eat the ghost shrimp?

No such luck I think... I have been feeding bloodworm/mysis Shrimp first so the 2 that are eating are not going to go after them right away but I haven't seen the other 2 go after them at all. The tank is in the basement and now that I have the lights off and the front covered I can't really sit and watch from a distance like I used to but last night there was a Ghost shrimp maybe a 1/2 inch from one and no go.

I have called almost every Pet Store in Alberta and no one has Live Blackworms (including Riverfront). :(

I did find a member who can ship me some next week from another province (BC) so I hope these two little ones last until then. I am going to try Red Wigglers and small feeder fish (with tails cut off) next. The small feeder fish idea was a suggestion from a member and at this point I will try anything.

I was also told by another person that I should be raising the temp 1-2 every day until I reach 90C so their metabolism goes up. I'm a little leery of this because I haven't read anything that says they can tolerate this high of temp.

Any thoughts on this?

82-84F is generally where i try to keep my ray tanks temp......

I have gotten a retic to eat bloodrom befor. I tryed to switch foods with him and i first tryed a small squid. i cut the tentacles off and cut them up into smaller pieces. the retic ate them and soon after he ate fresh cut up fish. The tentacles cut up resembled small worms which may have made them more appealing to the retic. I only had to feed it twice befor he started to take other foods.

You could bump up the temp. The highest I've went is 88 but lots of members have gone that high with no problems. It just may take awhile to get them to eat. Put a divider up between the ones eating and not eating so you know if the blackworms are being ate by the right rays. Riverfront usually gets them in once a week. Give me a call if you want to talk more.
