Bought very injured pleco, need advice

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aaah! Thanks, but...I don't get it. What have "alpha male" tendencies got to do with political correctness or wokeness or anything else that I was ridiculing?

I was being sarcastic about all that New Age stuff...but now I'm just confused. :)

Of course, that's par for the course for me...just another day in the world of Antisocial Media. :)

Just realized that we've veered way off course for this thread; it's not in off-topics. Apologies to the OP.
I have enjoyed reading the very off topic convo. I needed a good laugh.

In an on topic matter the fish I got last week is still alive and has a voracious appetite. I have included pics I took today. The eyes or um… eye holes look a little gross but not infected gross. I think they are healing pretty well all things considered.

I think it’s doing ok. It’s eating very well and seems to be healing. I posted updated pics.
To be honest, I wouldn’t have picked that fish so I’m always amazed when folks do something like that out of the kindness of their hearts. Glad it’s under your care and good on you for being a kind person

Wanted to update everybody with the good news. The eyes have completely healed over and my pleco is amazingly healthy. I’m truly shocked that it looks so good compared to how I brought it home. The fins have completely healed, and it has gained a considerable amount of weight/size since I brought it home!

Looking way better! Good job!

I personally was going to say when I am faced with things like this I do use aquarium salt and I try to keep the water clean with no food waste and I personally do change the water every 2/3 days. Not massive water changes but I do like to add fresh water and its always done the trick for me
