Bowfin and Tank pics.

Well this guy is about 8 months old and about 13". I feed him Freeze dried Krill, fatheads and night crawlers. He loves creeping through the algae which yes I intentionally let get that way after all it is his home and I like the natural look of it algae or not. He's in there with 6 Buenos Ares tetras, a 9" pleco, decorous cat and some Dats I never see until I feed them at night.

I love Bowfish.....one of these days if we can ever close on a house, I would love to have a pond like my friend has with just Bowfin, Shortnose gar and Golden Shiners.

Yum, Bowfins taste great. We catch them here in the rivers all the time. I had these guys bite through lures. Strong jaws
