how big do they get as an adult and could they live with a baby lmb

They get 2-3 feet as adults, depending on sex and care.

I am not certain how they would do with a bass. Depends on how aggressive the bass is at a small size. Bowfin are typically very docile and stealthy, especially at a smaller size.
