Bowfin compatibility

I keep my 16 incher with two polys about the same length a 16" marbled cat. A 9" Dempsey and a 7" midevil . Only time I had problems was when I had a second bowfin in tank.

Mine grew about an inch per month. They are very aggressive towards each other but never bothered my other fish.

The various sized bowfin I have had never really caused any problems with my other fish.My biggest was a twelve incher that was only aggressive when I dropped in floating pellets..it would chase other fish away from the food.

I kept mine with 3 grass pickerel and 2 florida gars in a 150 gallon.
