Ive been growing out some bowfin over this summer and thought id share their progress. I started with one dozen that a buddy of mine caught in a dried up flooded area at a nearby lake. All were about 1 inch long.

Theyve been eating hikari food sticks and market shrimp and have grown to 5"+! Now down to only 4 bowfin due to survival of the fittest.
They have been swapped between many different tanks due to their aggression ie fin nipping/chasing/eating each other. For now theyre in my spare 55 until my 150 growouts are ready for my 220. After that is undecided
