Bowfin growouts 6/2013

Update: Im down to only two bowfin left. I gave the other two to a friend.
I recently moved the two to my empty 125 with a common pleco and two grass pickerel.
The bowfin have grown about an inch and a half and gained a lot of girth.
One of the pickerel were caught with no tail fin. It appears he has been living that way for a while since it is completely healed. I named him Stubby.

cool updated pics i have heard that bowfin will spawn if you put them in a pond with lots of plants and vegitation. would be cool to have them spawn.
