Bowfin i caught today this will open ur eyes

Bah! Awesome looking fish fellas! I'm jealous! I keep trying and keep trying to collect a bowfin for my tank and can't ever get hold of one. Supposedly in southeast mo they are all over but I have yet to net or hook and line a single one. Someday!

I love catching them usually dont go to the swamp where we duck hunt with out a rod we catch some nice ones but haven't ever really took any pics i might have to try the next time i go south

i saw a small one once at a local has been the only one i have ever seen in the wild see alot more gars though

I use fingermullet to catch my fins I also use heavy medium poles cause bowfin are so powerful!
