Bowfin vs Snakeheads

Hi,like chronick said the species best compatible with bowfins are channa argus which lives in a temperture range of 0-30 dc!
I have 3 Channa Bankanensis and 4 Bowfins which are all in the 4-5" range,which is more than double the size of when I bought them all,and they all eat together and live somewhat peacefully.If I put anything else in the tank with them,they'll kill it for sure.Considering the adult size difference of the two,I'm sure this won't last for too long,especially seeing as how the Bowfins growth rate is about 5 times faster than this particular Channa species,but in the meantime,these guys are cool with eachother!
i've kept 2 giant snakeheads before... these fish will destroy anything in its way and i mean anything. when i moved back to the states i gave them to a friend of mine. he owns a lfs in china. he kept the larger one with a 3ft silve arowana thinking it's too big to be attacked. little did we know... it destroyed the arowana that same night, my giant snakehead was only half of the size of the silver aro. it was so brutal, pieces of the arowana was floating around about a quarter of the fish was in my snakehead's stomach.

I love snakeheads and since its illegal to obtain, a bowfin fish is even better. I can't belive these are not related or cousins like Asian arowana's vs. Australian arowana's? The only problem is that I bought 4 from Snook21 and they were ~1.5" and they all died do to starvation..would not eat Blackworms nor bloodworms. However, I just bought another 4(~3-4") and they are doing fine @ 82-84' F!! They are in a 55gal, water level of 5-6inches from the bottom and eating rosy and chopped shrimps.
