yeah they get green tongues when in breeding colors i caught a 7 pounder last summer he bit the hell out of my finger and his tongue was green so i did some research and it happens during the breeding cycle ill see if i can find a pic of him.

wicked! i never really get too close to the front ends and try to make them feel in control ie never force them about, it seems to work thou, i can do what ever i want in there tank with out them blinking an eye and certainly the have never got aggy with me....
saying that my RCK just got a good beat durring feeding, like the type of beat that ends a life maybe?
