You need paper / document for them? :eek: Isnt bowfin native to North America?

I saw them (around 2ft+) in fish market @ $6.99 a pound :eek:
 
yes but they arent in bc so we have to have paperwork to have them here and prove that they wont escape and destroy the salmon
 
i have a 6 inch. i can never get pics because he never stops moving.... great fish...
