Bowfin

yeah there a preety cool fish, they to a good size too, personally i wouldn't keep them in anything with less than a 30" width and 8' length, unfortunattly milman can;t ship his bowfin so i couldn't get them.
 
I have a shipper that I just offered him, so shipping just became an option. It is still up to him though.
 
I have three. They were about an inch and a half when I got them they are now about eight inches. What would you like to know.
 
Sorry don't have any right now. when my daughter returns my camara i'll get you some. One thing is I had them in a 55 gal and had to seperate them. they were ok with the other fish just not each other. If you want to see some cool bowfin pics try master index of freshwater fish(google images)

In response to queries I've posted, most advise that do do not tolerate otherr bowfins well. I don;t have any - yet. But I'd love to. Are they together in one tank? If so, what size tank? Are they aggressive towards each other? Any other tankmates?
