Would have thought racoons would be a problem.

PA has nice wild areas to cold for me lol but Spring/Summer there is fantastic.

I'm afraid all my pets are spoiled. And sometimes I think they eat better than I do.

So far so good. I've never had a problem with predators. That would have to be one hungry raccoon to make a meal of a box turtle.

There are some major predators out there, better to stay clear of them in case they want to go for your boxys

Thanks, that's "Sparky". I named her that when I was 8 because of how colorful she was. She's an awesome turtle, super friendly and loves to come beg for food when she sees me.

I have a shallow tub of water for my turtles to bath in on hot days. But for drinking water I use a chicken water dispenser like the one in the below link. That way they always have clean water for drinking.
