I want to get a scribbled boxfish or known as Reticulate Boxfish (Ostracion solorensis). Does anybody have experiance or tips about this boxfish?
 
boxfish are great fish however have a bad captivity record and have a toxin they can release that will kill everything in the tank. If you are set of a box fish regardless please take the time to research it as much as possible.

i am aware that boxfish can release toxins, but there is aren't many facts online.
 
Also, they eat a posionous algae to get the toxins, so if that alagae isn't present in your aquaria, you're safe.
 
well they do store there toxin's so they may not have the algae but alway's have the toxin's just be careful with your decision.

yes i will. BTW can someone give me 1st hand exeriance with the scribbled boxfish!
