"He's only seven years old",He is probably well aware that he is protected by his age from the law and an interesting law that is,so just any minor over there can go around and destroy peoples property, what if one ofthem was caught with one of those restricted fish, can he keep it because of his age?Everyone brings up his age as if that is to say that seven year olds have no sense of right and wrong ,in some cultures children that age care for their siblings. How do you all know that the kid did not figure out a way to sneak in and get past whichever security messures were in place. Some of you sound like the attorney who defends a murderer knowing damn well he is guilty.

Maybe so, but its better then sounding like an animal and wishing the death of a seven year old! :irked:

But of course according to this guy seven years olds are perfectly capable of everything and instead of being in fisrt grade they should be holding jobs and have other major responsibilities. After all, first graders have fully developed minds even though they are they are just now polishing up their reading skills and starting basic math! :screwy:

Sickening! This kid should be watched at all times...if hes does this at seven what will he do at 17?

Ouch, who said all of those things you threw in there? My point is just that the kid knew what he was doing and he is due some form of consequences,(Aussie lawmakers wake up!)even if it is just a good old fashioned ass whupping, which is probably all the kid needed quite a while ago and this sort of blatant disrespect of others property wouldnt have been displayed in the first place. If you even have children of your own,you are likely one of those parents who out in public let their young kids carry on and act up with no kind of instruction.I never said a word about killing a child so change your broken record.

i still say hes going to have some serious mental health issues when he can sit there and bash a live animal with a rock over and over. he obviously holds no sympathy for his victims (animal) and could easily do the same for humans when he gets older. his parents should be held accountable, and he should not be allowed to be near any animals at all. he knows the difference between right and wrong..

Ive had posts deleted because of small stupid stuff like saying that I wish the ship that was made out of the WTC rubble would get a chance at some payback, yet MFK allows the avodcation of the death of children?! wow I thought this was a family forum. :(

Looking at the website for Alice Springs Reptile Centre, I'd say most of their herp collection is handled often, making it easy for anyone to hold one of the reptiles mentioned.

Access to a croc pool is usually very limited, and I would love to see more pics of the enclosure and find out how the kid got to it.

If indeed the kid "broke in", the facility can't be faulted. I vote it all on the parents.

If i could have fed a croc like that when i was 7 they would have no zoo left just a big fat croc. Just imagine u are a 7 boy and there is eating machine on the other side of the fence that will chomp, bite, swallow anything u throw in it's the best nature/wildlife show ever in a childs mind i bet he had a blast. Now as far as the blame goes i say mostly on the parents for neglet and some on the zoo for the lack of security. Kids can get in a croc pin whenever they want that's outragious i say they split the bill for the lost animals.
I completly agree with you, When I was a 7yr old I was out killing every varmit I could get my hands on... at that age there is very little actual understanding of what it means to kill...I remember my Best friend and I took a Hampster put it on a pillow case and we would both pull on the ends of the pillowcase and Launch the poor hampster into the air...Poor little thing died from a heart attack... but at the time it was funnier than hell...As for how the kid got in there... there is no such thing as something which is Child proof... we just make it harder for Adults to get in... if you think I'm wrong... everyone with Young Kids give them a child proof container like you get Pills in... ask them to open it... we will bust our fingers and rub the skin off trying to get into those things... a Kid... if they arn't strong enough to pop off the top... They will just smash it with a Toy...They are Quicker than we give them credit for.

The Parents are to blame for the Childs actions 100% since they should always know where their child is... If my 2 yr old is out of site I know I need to go find out what he's gotten into...7 is just that much worse IMO

However the Farm should (since it's open to the public) have better pre-cautions and security for the grounds since they are obviously dealing with deadly animals... What I want to know is that how this kid was in the farm for 35 mins... just before 8am ... caught on a CCTV and why there was NO ONE there to stop it... I mean usually you spend money on a CCTV Set up for a security gaurd to be working and watching it... not just to catch the House wife picking her nose while breast feeding her kid on the bench... ALTHOUGH IT'S ALL WHAT THEY LIKE I GUESS

wow, i must have been a strange kid.. i never intentionally tried to hurt an animal. my step dad taught me to shoot and hunt and i still never killed an animal for anything other than food.

i don't remember my parents ever having to tell me that life is precious, or that i shouldn't kill things just for fun. But i know they had to teach me these values at some point.

We all learn it on our own.. it doesn't mean much when your young and some tells you these things... untill you have that one momment when you realize that death is final... it doesn't sink in. I Understood death but didn't really get it till I was older (I think I was like 10) and my Hunting dog what hit by a car... and I saw the pain in her eyes...and I had to shoot her, Thats when I finally got it... Still hunt but only for food purposes... I used to hunt just for the sake of getting out there and shooting.. I think that Southwestern Ontario had a dive in it's bird popluation when I was a kid.... I was hell on them back then... I havn't shot a single crow or blackbird in ... ALOT of years
