Hey guys, I just picked up my senegalus the other day, would anyone be able to sex it for me??? Here's a few pics, sorry if its a bit blurry my phone was dying and flash wasn't working...

Oh thank god for that! i was told male but i need to be sure He is a load bigger than my girl tho will that be a problem i want to breed them

When it comes to breeding there are many many other problems.

I had a tank full of bichirs once, only have 3 now. But Of those I had 3x Palmas Polli, two of them were full grown, at 12". The male started cupping his anal fin a lot and chasing the female. But they never bred for me.

1. Getting them to lay eggs is hard.
2. Taking care of the fry is even harder. The fry show a lot of cannibalism and are really aggressive towards each other.
