i voted male. the picture angles were bad so it is hard to tell from them but he looks male to me. some people might get offended right now but, alot of "knowledgable" flowerhorn people just look at the head and say female. there are alot of people that do know their stuff and there are alot of people that believe they know their stuff. i am no expert, i just happen to have a proven male with no kok and alot of people tried to tell me i was trying to breed 2 females. his body shape looks exactly like my male. you can breed kok into his fry with a good female and luck. i bred mine with a bp and one of the male fry is starting to get kok at 2 inches. he is also the best looking and the meanest one. besides, at his size, he would have laid eggs if he was female.
