you would be amazed at the amount of abused fish on tv like sesame street with elmo and his half gallon tank with a goldfish, makes me wonder if they go through a fish every episode.....shame really

The goldfish changes quite often if you've ever seen Sesame Street more than once or twice. I think they buy a bunch of feeders and rotate them.

Actually, this isn't fish abuse at all, infact they clearly saved the fishes life

why do I say that?

Clearly these people live in a magic house where everything magically comes apart, if they had the fish in a fish tank which has multiple parts it may come apart and all the water would immediately come out and the fish would end up on the floor and die, so they obviously saved the fish and put it into a bowl while they try and figure out why their house keeps coming apart, these are great fish owners that use some quick thinking!

lol well truth be told its been a LOOONG LOOONG time since i last watched sesame street so i dont remember the rotation, you mean they switch the fish but from a group of regular fish or a new fish every time. its possible they have them in suitable set ups and put them in the bowl for short periods of time but regardless it still sends a message to people and children will beg parents for a goldfish and having seen it in a bowl will think its an appropriate set up..
