BP and fh

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
60 is a bit small for all those fishes in the long run. to be honest with you.

hmm.. i think ur FH has already been claim the 60 as his home turf..

only thing u can probably house is maybe pleco, clown loc or bala shark.. and even then they might be in danger of getting clipped..

FH at full size are big demanding fish.. nothing will go well with them.. except for a bigger tank.. and even then.. you'll run into little bits of dead ends with bigger tanks..

i have parrots in with my flowerhorns no problem but in a 60 gallon its a different story.

well parrots dont count.. their like the bloods and (Flowerhorn) crips in a tank.......

Although. I HAVE seen FH co-exist with Arowana, Green Terrors and Giant Gourmi before... oh not to mention Oscars too!!... rather interesting to see

IF your intersted at all AZNjon.. i got a good 8" oscar i'll be willing to give away for 10 bucks.. its a Tiger Oscar!

2 blood parrots living in the 60 gallon tank with a FH would be much more possible to house together than plecos, clown loaches, or bala shark as you mentioned. (in fact, it's almost never seen or heard of, except plecos)

I notice that most of your posts consist of giving advices but they all tend to be incorrect. Please do not give incorrect advices when you have no knowledge or first hand experiences please.

To answer your question,

If you can get them to live together, 60gallon with 2 BP for life is fine.

Please stop talking to me.. or trying to target me..

I have not disrespected you in anyway and I wish you will do the same.

aww come on kids, lets not argue. this is a happy place. its ok to keep them together when they are small. ive done it. but it end up getting dangerous once my flowerhorn grew. so its probably not safe to do so.

You sure haven't disrespected me in anyway, but giving wrong advise to those new hobbyists can really confuse them even more than they already are and might end up with hurt/dead FHs.

Hope you can understand this is a forum where you are supposed to give and receive "correct" advises/tips, not a playground to waste time and type whatever you want.;)

My humble suggestion would be please do not comment if you can't steer those people in need of help the right way.

I agree with JP on this one zero, you don't know what you're talking about and stop trying to sell this guy an oscar.. :screwy:

a flowerhorn and 2 parrots might work out well for a while but when somebody decides to lay eggs you're going to have problems. My guess is that you will not be able to keep the flowerhorn in there for over a year.
