I don't understand how this spill has been going on for about a month, and they still haven't plugged it up!! Those @$$holes can have all this technology but can't plug up a d@mn oil leak?!

What exactly do you mean by that? They cant pay for something that's dead already.They cant pay to bring back a fish,shrimp,clam or whatever species that may be now extinct or on the verge of extinction......so in my opinion they aren't really "paying" for anything at all.Just a thought ............

I don't understand, killing a single person is enough to get you the death penalty in some places and life in prison everywhere else. But this? Destroying the planet? This earns the CEO's a death sentence in my books, this cant be tolerated.

A British oil company is a world wide company and they have more then likely bought the rights from the states.
The thing is that the CEO doesn't have control over what happens tho they are responsible for their company. What they are responsible for is not being honest about the leaks and showing what the actual damage they are doing.

Well, they are paying for the cleanup, obviously. Though they're only spending a very small percentage of their daily revenue on the actual cleanup efforts, which is pretty pathetic in its own right.

I'm never buying their gas ever again.

If you boycott BP you should stay consistent and boycott Exxon for their oil spill back in 1989. It wouldn't make much sense to boycott BP, just to go and buy gas from another oil company also responsible of irreparable damage to the environment.

Its all about money human life isn't worth ****, were just pawns look at how much the company gets off life insurance if the employee dies. Or the Exxon Valdez oil spill they still havn't paid people out on that because they can make more money by not doing it.

Its all in owner ship bp queen elizabeth but also the Rockefellers and queen beatrix all have a part in bp. bp has been a US back company since the 50's or sooner

Heres my Conspiracy theory by allowing this to happen it will inforce stricter laws on off shore drilling making it harder for any smaller company to compete in the market leading to more of a monopoly.
