Brachychalcinus Orbicularis (Disk Tetra)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ahh I can't wait to see when they're here.

They came in today. They are bigger than I expected and way more colorful. They are also very active, especially for only having been in the tank for about 3 hours. I gave them that amount of time without the lights on. I couldn't be more pleased.

Hi buddy, do you still have them? I have a chance at getting some BRACHYCHALCINUS ORBICULARIS, I have a heavily stocked 120, how many do you think I could add? I want it to look natural, I was think 8-10 maybe, how big are yours?

Yes, I have five of them and they are doing very well. I house them in a four foot 150. Ideally a six foot tank would be better. They have become my favorite fish in the tank. They are quite large. I would say they are about the size of a tennis ball. I'm not sure what "heavily stocked" is to you, but 8-10 of them is a lot.

I can get them for $5 each at 1inch long

That's way less than I paid...
It's from Spencer Jack in canada, I trust him. They are 1.5 to 1 inch each. Are they good looking, which part of the tank do they chill in the most, behaviour?, recommend? MORE PICTURES?? Videos??!! I know this stuff is online, but Id love to get someone's opinion
