Brachyplatystoma tigrinus arrived today

Unlike the rest of the board... the Catfish section has a rush hour during the week it's usually pretty hard to get many comments untill around 8-9 pm then it stays pretty busy for a couple of hours so you'll have to have some patience for answers sometimes.

Awsome cat and as BigJ mentioned ... Don't over feed it as it seems to be the number 1 reason for the sudden deaths. I personally wouldn't be giving it the huge swollen belly that most of us do with our cats but more smaller meals which would be easier on their bodies.

Also, high oxygen levels are recommended with these guys too. Other than that, I've always heard that overfeeding was the main cause for concern with these guys too.
