That's a joke, right?

Of course filtration helps but no amount of filtration will keep that kind of bioload at bay. I tend to overstock my larger tanks but a 30g would be difficult to keep clean, as the poster is complaining about how dirty the tank is. I do 75+% weekly WC on my tanks too.

well before pufferpunk pops a bloodvessel i have good news for his sanity but bad news for one of my puffers. One of the stonefish ate one of them so im taking those back before i lose the other two. So pufferpunk you can now pull that stick out of your rear and get back to telling other people how smart you are.

Now for everyone else who are more into fish then themselves i still just want a small cleanup fish that will be compatible with two puffers, so throw your ideas at me! thanks

not sure on any fish

That was uncalled for & I am a woman. Is that how yu talk to your mother?

How many fish have you lost now, to your ignorance??? If you had any idea of the fish your stonies could eat, you wouldn't have lost these wild-caught fish, depleting our natural resources.

Puffer, I meant for a 150 that wouldn't be overstocked, if properly cleaned and filtered. I agree however that in a 30, even if all babies, he will need more space.

I'm sorry to hear that your fish got picked off. Unfortunately thats what happens with stonefish. Unless its bigger or doesn't go near it (which is hard in a 30 gal) its going to eat your fish.

However, Brad, while Pufferpunk does come bluntly, he has a point. You really cannot safely put any fish in a 30 gallon with the fish you have.

GSPs especially in a smaller space will become agressive to most fish. And there's not a lot you can put in a 30gallon size wise that wouldn't eventually be eatten by the stonefish. I hate to say it, but he's really correct on this one. Unless you immediately get a bigger tank, you cannot safely house more fish.

Sorry mate :(

I'm one of those brutally honest females but I do know my stuff. Been in this hobby over 30 years.

Pufferpunk correct me if im wrong but women have rears too so im not sure what difference it makes. If you would like to explain furthur how my commentary on you does not apply to your gender i will make sure to edit it so that it does! thanks

And just to let it be known i knew the stones were a risk but they were cool enough to make them worth a try. And pufferpunk if your that depressed about the puffer who atleast became food to another fish you should check out petco where there are several rotting away all the time. anyways im down to 3 fish total now and this is just temporary so its fine.

Thank you daeorn for expressing your opinion in an inteligent and friendly manner and without trying to bombard me with your ego.

Please show me where ego got in the way of my info.
