Brand new ac 110 clicking LOUDLY!?!

no air in the intake, and if I put pressure on the top of the intake tube it stops clicking as often. I have taken it apart and put it back together but its still clicking. There is no rythm to it, its actually very sporadic.ewurm;2383861; said:
i have the exact same problem and made a post about a month ago on it. all my answers were that it was bad cause every other person in the world that has one loves it. gave it a few weeks to "break in" and it's the same. it got a "tad" quiter when i just rested the lid on instead of closing it
Mine did this too, make sure your intake isnt catching on your tank rim and make sure its as tight down as you can get it. Also make sure your ac110 is leaking from the pump. I had one with the o ring go bad and it was letting in air and it was clicking.
Taking it back presents a problem. I took the printout from doc fosters and smith for 33.99 to the farthest petsmart from my home. (had to call every single one of them in my area before one would commit to price match) so its either take it back 45 mins away or argue with some one at a closer store.
