Alright, this is my first time owning a tsn, and have a few questions. I picked him up after reading an online ad. He is about 3" and cost me $3. The guy had him in a 5g community tank and complained that the tsn was eating all of his neon tetras (lol). Anyways, he is pretty underfed, but looks great regardless. He is currently in my 29g long being fattened up. He will then move to my 75g long, and finally to my 300g pond. His final home will hopefully be a soon to be made 2K gallon pond. My question is, at what sizes should I upgrade him to the next tank? Thanks MFK

As long as hs too big to be eaten and the tanks mates are too. He will be fine in the bigger tanks. Lets see some pics.

yeah, but I don't think he will compete too well yet in the bigger tanks. That is why I need suggestions. I will take pics now

jeez, patience people. They are being uploaded now :D

Yea i took mine and put him in my next bigger tank at about 6 or 7 inches... He should be fine in the 29 for awhile if he's only 3 inches...

Here we go. I am really happy, cause I thought he wouldn't eat, and he already has a round belly :)
