Brasi update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If the fins weren't all the way stretched, it could still very well be a female. But if they were stretched all the way out I agree male.

Such an impressive fish. Just one look at him and you can tell he will be the boss of whatever tank you put him in!

He runs this tank absolutely.. All other fish share 10% lol hilarious. Super bossy... However I'm worried I'm about to put a 13" aimara in there..

He might bully the aimara depending on specimens, could be the other way around, I think Liam said the dorado he had bullied a larger aimara before he got it. The size difference was more significant, like 16" vs 20". Update us on how it goes, hopefully good. And pics of the aimara when you can lol thank you

Wow is that right, I was afraid of the other way.. The aimara I'm picking up has been kept solo most of its life.. And will aggressively start shaking it's head and flare gills if you place anything in front of it from outside the tank. Will even try to launch bite and swim back around and flare gills until you back away.. So yeah gonna have to see lol

It can go both ways, both fish are very capable of harming one another, and now that you mention its been kept solo, i'd be worried just as you are lol, hope it works out though
