Hello Chris
Thank you for sharing these great photos from Brazil! Makes me happy to see 'real aquariums' underwater.
May I give you some background for my aquascaping?
My name is Janne Aho and I live in Finland. I have seven biotope tanks and they all are from African mainland (2 Tanganyikas, 4 swift flowing river biotopes from the Lower Congo area and West Africa) and Madagascar (swift flowing Nosivolo River). I have tried to imitate the authenticity (fast water flowing, ... etc.) as much as possible and it has taken almost two years to build some tanks with the help of authentic photos and videos and good books.
As a biologist ALL BIOTOPES from tropical America to Papua New Guinea interest me but I have room only for seven tanks.
To find someone who has the skill to see the natural water environments for aquascaping like you did is not everyday!
May I send your link and the excellent pics to some of my friends with natural looking authentic aquariums. Here i Finland we are not so many!
Best Regards,
Janne
