I'm hoping I can get the fish delivered on Saturday so I can get a kel and a couple pins. If I have to wait 'til next week, it won't work as I have to go out of town.

I've got word that SA will be getting another batch of these Brazilian golds (what I'm going to call them for the time being). I've also heard that the fish Rapps is getting are different than these. Anyone care to confirm/deny?

I suspect that the kelberi that Rapps is getting tomorrow are from the same place as his last 2 shipments. As per Jeff they were collected from a lake in Minas Gerais.

No....very thick and robust so far. I have one that is a runt, but that's to be expected when you have a group of more than a few regardless of which Cichla you are keeping. It's important to keep the runt alive, if it dies another one will become the runt and so on.
Sorry to ramble....my group is growing very nicely. I will post more pix tomorrow.

I am training them to eat silverside. All my zullies in the same tank are taking silverside. The goldies are taking them occasionally. It's matter of time.

Just order some Rapp's kelberi, will see them grow side by side.
