Besides that, there are a few reasons...
(1) With fish like these peacock and this SIZE AND STRENGTH peacock, you do NOT want to lip them like a largemouth bass
(2) these are SUPER STRONG FISH and you don't want to have your hands anywhere around the hooks if they start to thrash about...SUPER STRONG FISH!!
(3) With regard to world record and other weight confirmation, these "Boga Grips" can be calibrated and certified for weighing
(4) I don't think I mentioned but WITH FISH LIKE THESE PEACOCK AND THIS SIZE AND STRENGTH PEACOCK, YOU DO NOT WANT TO KP THEM LIKE A LARGEMOUTH BASS
