Some of the instant grits come cheese flavored and actually taste pretty good.Most older folks around here don't go the instant route though.They add the cheese while the grits are cooking and I love it....I may go out for some fish and grits today.

I have never seen any flavored grits in store. Didn't even know they exist until viewing back of the box.

Grits are very versatile.You can even eat it like cream of wheat with milk and sugar,or whichever sweetener you prefer.

Me too.I'm actually not good at cooking grits which is why I mostly buy instant,there's no difference in the taste.

Ah born and raised in the south but still can't eat grits.. Went to biscuit kitchen this morning and got a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit.. 'twas awesome.

Albers.... is the brand nae I am using these days... its not bad,and cheap , a box goes for about $1.50
