Nope not being a pest at all! haha The oscar and now my dorado sometimes grab the bubbler tubing and drag it around and as long as its in the water It doesn't bother me how its facing... I think I can scrounge up a picture of my goliath. Its just that he was in my grow-out and I don't take many pictures of my grow out... also it was hard to get a picture of him because he was always moving and I had little to no lighting in his tank at all times to prevent freak outs.

My store may be getting some GATF in on Tuesday. I've always wanted one, but I don't have a tank for it. Do you keep other fish with the GATF? If I got one I would probably go for a VTF rather than the Goliath mainly because of size. I know they tend to stay smaller than the Goliaths and that is better for me considering I don't have room for a 5ft set of teeth lol I plan on keeping all my fish long term too so maybe I will get a GATF when I have my own place to fill with monster tanks. Living with my mom gives me limited space to work with unfortunately. She's already not a big fan of the 225g build I have in the basement.

I kept mine with a Nile perch of around the same size. I also kept 4 huge giants danios in the tank with him to school with as it calmed him down and made him less likely to spaz out. Goliath or Vittatus it really doesn't matter, they both get huge, way too big for a 225. It needs to be the first in the tank and can't have any tankmates that can even be slightly intimidating to it until it hits the 10 inch mark IMO... I am 17 and still live at home and my mom isn't thrilled about my tank either but my dad likes it so it stays.

i know they get big that's why I can't keep one. If it was up to me I would build a 1,000g+ tank and just keep Tiger Fish in it lol, but that's not at all in my budget. Maybe someday though! I like the colors fo the Vittatus better, but the size of the Goliath is impressive. It's nothing but expansion from here on out though so maybe within the next year I will have me a Tiger Fish tank! When my store gets them in they are only about 3"-5" so maybe I can setup a 75g/90g grow-out for one until I can get another large tank built. Do they grow fast?
