Pac stopped trying after the 7th against an opponent with a fractured foot and the other one sprained. Maybe this will be a wake up call to always finish your opponent and go for the knockout instead of leaving it to the judge. The payout should have a knock out clause

I agree on some kind of ko bonus. The ufc has a win bonus. X amount to show, x amount to win. Usually it's double the purse. Makes them try harder to get the w. Then there's fight of the night, ko of the night and submission of the night bonuses.

I guess that cash would have to come from the promoters pockets so we probably won't be seeing such bonus payouts in boxing.
