Sorry guys but this is only breaking news if you get all of your information from mainstream media.
It's not about whether you have anything to hide, the "patriot" act has created a loophole in our constitution that allows for unprecedented breeches in public privacy. The NSA isn't just monitoring Verizon customers, they are actively SPYING on every single form of domestic communication. That includes phone calls, texts, emails, Google searches, MFK posts... everything. And it isn't some FBI agent sitting there listening in. All of these conversations are recorded, screened for keywords using warehouse-sized supercomputers, and permanently stored in server farms such as their new million sq ft toy discussed here

Sure we have nothing to hide (hopefully lol), but does that mean the govt can record phone calls without a warrant along with texts and emails while they're at it? Where do we draw the line? Full body scanners at airports? Been there... Metal detectors and bag searches at schools and sports games? Done that.... Cameras on every stoplight? Got those too.... Oh and how about no guns with magazines so we can't even arm ourselves if China, Russia, Iran and N Korea decide to do something about the US taking out the ruling government in every nation that considers debasing the dollar by accepting other currencies as payment for oil? Wait I thought we were protecting the poor Muslims from tyrants and terrorists... That's not the way the Fed and CIA roll.
All they're after is one international currency and government, and they're almost there with the IMF and UN. Just a few resisters left... Iraq, check. Afghanistan, check. Libya, check. Now to finish off Syria, Iran, and NK... it's all part of the plan, happening in every country around the world, and won't stop. No conspiracy, just overwhelming evidence and common sense.
If you don't believe it then go ahead and continue thinking we're trying to rid the world of terrorism, like that's even possible without living in an absolute police state, while the government sees how many freedoms they can get away with stealing from us under the so-called patriot act (now over a decade old and still being renewed every 6 months). Seeing people forced out of their homes after the Boston attack like they were all lying about harboring terrorists made me sick. One more precedent for the books
