Well all I have to say in that there will be Zimmerman supporters and Martin Supporters.
I, for one is a martin supporter. I being 18, would agree with Martin's attack if he really did attack.
I don't care if anyone thought I was up to no good. You follow me, your asking for trouble imo.

The more I read up on this case the more I support Zimmerman. At first I wasnt for sure but after hearing some more of what the only eye witness of the incident has said, Zimmerman will get off.

Z did not brandish his weapon while chasing M. Z in fact didnt even chase M, he lost him. M blind sided Z while he was walking back to his car. The one eyewitness said it WAS Z yelling for help.

I hope the media hasnt spoiled the jury pool. Most people that I know who are informed of the case and not just know about what they have seen on TV, support Zimmerman and Florida's stand your ground law which really in this case is irrelevant because even before stand your ground this would have been a justifiable homicide. Having your head beat in on the side walk can easily kill you and you have the right to respond accordingly.

Also, what took M nearly an hour to make a fifteen minute walk IN THE RAIN if he wasnt up to no good? Really though if M was just stopping to smell the roses or indeed casing homes - he has been caught with stolen property before he said he was holding for a friend - is not really important to the case as it all boils down to M initiating the violence against Z that ultimately led to his death. People say, "well if Z didnt have a gun he wouldnt have looked for M."

Why does that matter? If M hadnt of blindsided Z and acted like a thug hed still be alive today. Ive met these types before. They react with violence if they feel "disrespected."

Zimmerman did NOTHING illegal. Free Zimmerman NOW.

The only things we know for sure are facts, are that Z followed M with a loaded weapon after being told not to, and M was later shot. Following some one is not illegal and should not put yourself in a dangerous situation. Basically you are saying Martin is dangerous because Zimmerman followed him is that correct? The only law broken that I can see is when M blind sided and attacked Z.

If Martin was really just walking home with some tea and a bag of skittles - why would it take him nearly an hour to do this IN THE RAIN? - why would he blind some one who was following him? This was in a nice gated community, not in the hood. I really doubt M was scared and if he had simply asked Z what was up instead of instantly getting violent, he would be alive today. Its as simple as that.

Zimmerman was not initially charged because it is clear that it was justifiable homicide. Unfortunately Zimmerman is a victim of the PC we world we live in today.

A grieving mother is not as credible as a less likely to have an emotional swing father when it comes to the voice recognition. None of us would sound like normal while screaming for help at the top of our lung while being swung on. I'm positive after all that's been revealed it was not Martins voice

Honestly you may be right. Murder in the second is extremely high in this case so I think they over charged for one of two reasons. One, for Z to be scared and plea down to manslaughter which makes it an easy win for them or two for Z to take it to trial and walk.

Either way, though one man is dead, two lives were ruined.

I just hope for the sake of you city folks that if Z walks people behave themselves.

i can't help but noticed that no one answered how cool they would be with zimmerman following their wife, daughter, gf or any female for that matter in the same exact situation. does your opinion change so much if you're pro zimmerman that you won't even bother to discuss it?

This will go largely unanswered, because then Z supporters would have to look at some sobering truths. I don't like to be followed, I dont like to follow others. And I will take very serious issue with someone following My Mother,Wife,Children or Sister. Z was negligent in his actions. They do have a murder charge specificly for that.

oh, and how come zimmerman tells the dispatcher he thought martin was in his late teens but in his apology the other day he says he thought martin was just a lil bit younger then him. This trial should be interesting. i'm not sure how you can find enough jury members who don't come in with an opinion already. leaning either direction. people have been known to lie about a case to get on a jury.

I guess by making that statement Z. was saying Him following Martin would have been more justifiable had he been The age he thought he was... He know he was wrong.
