Breaking News out of Florida!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
While following someone is not necessarily illegal(necessarily because there are cases where it can be ie: stalking), you can't tell me that following someone who you truly believe is a criminal, in the middle of the night, doesn't pose even the slightest bit of risk or danger! ... Not to someone who "is sick of letting those punks get away", and decided to take things into his own hands.

While I don't believe it was Z's intentions to kill anyone that night, HE DID! And whether it be partly, or fully, I believe Zimmerman IS responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin! For making the confrontation happen(can we agree that he did cause the confrontation?). If he's not guilty of manslaughter(not sure based on what I know if he is or not), he sure as hell should be guilty in a wrongful death suit.

I wonder how everyone's opinion would change if it would have been M who had the carry permit and had shot and killed Z, if all other facts remained the same and M stated that he was attacked first by Z?

Was Z on top of M bashing his head into the side walk while M was calling out for help and there was an eyewitness that saw this? If so then M was in his right just like Z was in his right because the opposite happened.

I'm in FL myself, gotta say that I'm tired of hearing about this. Glad it will be settled in court like it should have been in the first place. Zimmerman messed up, whatever he gets he deserves. However, if either one of those guys had any sense the whole thing wouldn't have happened. Although you can't blame a 17 yr. old kid for not having any sense...

That being said, this is MFK, not CNN.com, lets get off this subject...

This is a thread in the "Lounge" dedicated to non fish topics. If you aint feeling it, I suggest you move on. At first I had the same feelings as you. But as this thread progressed I realized that On MFK we may share common interests. But we also sit on different sides of the fence. everyone that has taken the time to post in this thread has exposed their morale fiber. I still have respect for everyone. This is a worthy discussion with differences of opinion from every demographic, No love or respect has been lost thus far. this is the type of discussion that America needs to have. And if it happens on a fish forum, You better cherish the moment, because it aint happening anywhere else.

Z would not be in his.right if he started the fight.

I just hope for the sake of you city folks that if Z walks people behave themselves.

Right! Someone said it though... either way, people will be upset about either verdict.

Oh no,not the O.J. trial!!...I remember being at work when the verdict was to be read and everyone was watching the television in anticipation of the outcome. When the verdict was announced it almost felt as if all of my co workers were glaring at me as if I had something to do with the case or the outcome.Tense time that was.....Well,Zimmerman is out on bond now.
