Even if he was a problem. It probably wasn't the best thing to do. It shows immaturity. It shows a person who probably drank their way through college picking teaching as a major only to realize they hate kids or don't know how to deal with a situation properly.

I change children if they soil themselves it's under the "loco parentis" act with parental concent.

It's usually a psycholgical problem if children keep having accidents, the worst thing you can do is make a point out of it. And if it's true that the teacher did this, they don't deserve to be one.

I don't condone violence in any way but if some teacher did this to my kid I would be in jail right now.

ugghh, that is gross. That is one thing I don't miss about teaching in elementary, poop. I had one student poop their pants and it looked like he had a poop pancake in his shorts. Almost puked.
But this is a better story. The gym teacher had kindergartners doing warmups and he smelled something. He had all kids stop and check the bottom of their shoes for dog poo. Everyone was clean. He checked his shoes and he had stepped in a turd in class. A kindergartner had managed to poop and shake it out his pantleg and the teacher stepped in it. Here's the kicker, someone from the same gradelevel did the same thing a year later. The culprit is still unknown and we refer to him as the "phantom pooper".

people have sued for for far lesser things in the USA and won..
