Parents: Female Motoro-1 14’’ disc Brown, orange spots, black contrasting rings
Male Motoro-2 12’’ disc Dark chocolate, lots of bright orange-yellow spots, black rings
Pups: 2 males 2” & 3”, 2 females 2” & 2-1/2” (the 2” female was still-born with a hole in the under belly and the 2” male passed 14 days later).

2nd Motoro Birth: 04/11/08
Parents: Female Motoro-1 14’’ disc Brown, orange spots, black contrasting rings
Male Motoro-2 12’’ disc Dark chocolate, lots of bright orange-yellow spots, black rings
Pups: 4 females all born 3-1/2”

3rd Motoro Birth: 08/03/08

can you keep and eventually breed motoro in 750gal? I'm building an aquarium around my room 2 ft tall on 3 walls and each wall section is about 250gallons.

people have bred them in a 180.... but a 750 be perfect...

when you say 100days give or take a week or two. have you had any over 100days?? TOday is day 99 for my motoro and still nothing, it is driving me crazy....

not me personally, but I've heard others going 120, roughly 3&1/2 months.
almost immediately after the female gives birth, the male will mate again.
look at the dates I posted above all from the same pair.
After her 3rd litter, I sepperated the 2.

It seems motoros = rabbit stingrays.

Only 1 retic breeder here in the united states.. AJfromAT is the only one I know of. a few public aquariums and I am sure some other non-internet hobbyists have bred them too.. a few german breeders, as well.

OLD THREAD BUT A GOOD ONE


1)parents: male columbian motoro 10" yellow spots
female peruvian motoro 11" orange spots

2) 2 female pups 3-3/4"-4" one with yellow spots(triple spot) one with brown spots.

3) Water temperature, 84 degrees F

4) How long from conception to birth: 101days july 23rd to November 1st
