Breeding ? about loachs

OK i have a zebra loach and a Angelicus Loach" will thay breed ? or can thay. because the zebra loach looks like its holding and eating a lot more then it usualy does.
it has a big belly on it.it most the time is thin.

thay look like there chasing each other in circles.

Can any one help?

They can be full of eggs but accounts for successful breeding in captivity is very rare.

And i know its rare i just didnt know if the dif spice could breed.

I think the fact that loaches are so rare to breed even within its own species that the "if" they will/can breed outside of conspecifics is unknown.

Loaches are'nt just rare to breed but almost on the border of impossible. That said, I did have kuli loaches breed, and have only heard of one case of clown loaches breeding in home aquaria.
