im currently breeding convicts for a lfs an they said they would like to see me try angels. is there anything i should know about them before i start doin this?
Get 4 young ones in put them in at least a 20gl. Keep the water worm from 82-86 is good. It you are working with take bread one it is not hard. Change around 80% of the water each week keep the ph below 7.0. Dont use gravel and keep it clean. Use slate leaned up against the glass.
Just know upfront that Angelfish are typically not a money making venture. WIth them being as easily bred as they are, alot of people have them. But, very often you can trade them at your lfs for supplies, and sometimes small amounts of money.
These are my breeders. I bought them as a pair, which is the only pair i've ever seen for sale in around 4 years, but ask around anyway. Saves a lot of hassle rather than trying to form pairs on your own.
