so they will breed in mid 70 range?
How hard do u think it would be to get a breeding population in... say a 10' by 13' by 4' that will be heavily planted and 6500k lighting?
In such an enslosure, what would be the easyist way to feed them?
Your saying 10' by 13' by 4' foot rigth? Because if its inches you can hardly fit a copple or a trio in there, preferably only one in that size enclosure. If its foot you can easily keep one male and 6 females in there. Remenbar that they need several basking places so that all lizards get their turn at basking.
i once bred my flying geckos.. had to cross out the entry in a book saying "breeding details: remarkably discreet" and put "easy, i did it and wasn't even trying"
so wait, let me get this straight. you're building a caiman enclosure, you don't even have the caimans yet, but you're already looking at vine snakes AND breeding anoles?
yes, i enjoy all animals and the enclosue is semi done. i working on it.
and im supprised no one has realised im talking about breeding the anoles in the caiman enclosure.

ok, i didn't realize that.. but one thing: anoles are TINY! maybe pu something bigger too..
here's some others you could try as well:
leaf tail geckos
flying geckos (these'll knock out bugs pretty d*mn quick. the crickets i feed mine die on IMPACT!)
some sort of arboreal skink
tree snakes
mice
prob is all of those are a bit more expensive as well as not as prolific(i believe)
snakes will not breed quick enough or eat bugs. mice are a def no for obvious reasons.
Im considering it atm. maybe greens or browns. not sure.
if i were you, i would add some tree frogs in addition to the anoles, most of them not only look nice but their calls would add a whole new dimension to the enclosure
didnt think about that. now i gotta go look for a species that would do
only consern is the enclosure is directly under my bedroom and frogs can be load

one pair of flying geckos can put out 2 eggs a month. they're easier to breed than you would think. i did it in my 20 gallon not even trying. they may be more expensive, but they're cool. they can fly, there's no possible way the caimans will catch them (they're super fast), and they're pretty highly adaptable. i've seen them at $15 for an adult, just buy 10 or so..
