Breeding AZN aros

i wonder if you need a permit to breed them

seeing as they all need to be microchipped and certified before they are sold.

i wanted to ask that same question too plus a whole bunch more. just waiting for somebody who has experience in breeding and selling them. i guess im looking for an arowana farmer who can enlighten me with this

now could u get an aisan aro without a chip? and just say u went somewhere they where legal and bought one with a chip and sent it to yourself in the US would you have someone knocking on your door in a few days??

i dont know in the US, but even here in asia its hard to breed them at home. they need lots and lots of spaces and constant monitoring. but there was this guy in singapore who did. his first brood was a year ago and guess what, this year the lucky guy just had another! he's cross-breeding super-reds and x-back goldens, producing tongyans(red-gold) aros.......

you'll need quite a few of them swimming in a huge pond. the guy who did it had more or less a dozen i think (correct me if im wrong) in his backyard pond. feeding them pork cubes and other hi-pro feeds until they naturally formed a breeding pair. when they did breed, he kept constant watch and asked an owner of a well-known aro farm in singapore to witness and certify the baby aros when the day for the harvest came
