Breeding Bettas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok, my guppies are breeding so fast I'll have to put them in the 10g. What chiclid besides an angel would go well in a community tank with guppies, platies, rainbowfish, rainbow sharks, 2 black skirts, and a few neons (I don't care if the neons get eaten).

Theyre a good bit smaller than baby guppies.

If you're just getting one ram you could get some small cories and tetras.

And if you put a betta in a bowl, try to do a big bowl in a warm area with some java moss and maybe some ghost shrimps.
Betta fry are MUCH smaller than guppy fry. All the betta breeders i know use artemia as fry food. But if you don't want a large yield, its not necessry to feed them artemia.
However, breeding bettas is a different story. The breeding techniques are different.
I'll post them in details later if you want. just contact me.

>.< god they are small and yea try to crush up fish food very finely and take the mom out of the tank after birth the dad wont eat the babys it'll just clean them and spit them back out

Use periods, I have no idea if you were giving me advice or complaining about your experince.
