No, the Black Motoro was sold to me as a regular one, it became darker only after few months....

I just traded my 2'3" tire track for an 11" . I'm ready to cry although I know it's best for know. Hopefully I get a new much bigger tank soon, and see if I can get him back. Mine didn't look as fat as your though, do you have any pictures of him?

Sure... Here are some pics of the eel and the black gohst knife. Note, both are quite good neighbours for the stingrays (in this size), my attemps to have other smaller knifes (not black gohst) ended as an expensive meal for the stingrays....

Gorgeous I love the neck pudge. I've seen pictures of tire tracks that were close to the length or larger then the one I recently gave away and they are thick like your's. Mine was chubbie in the neck area but not as thick in the body. Does he recoginze you, mine would only come out for me.

Your black ghost looks like he's in perfect condition. Very nice

Thank you for the nice words. My eel is very shy and tends to hide, he would grab the food but usually quickly go back to his "cave".
Do you have pictures of your eel?
Do you hold him with stingrays?
