I just recently bought an Electric Blue Crayfish from my lfs. It is housed in my 10g tank alone. I was wondering if 10g is too small to breed them? Also, I've never bred any before and I was wondering if anybody can give me any information or tips on how to do so. Thanks for your help!

i have same idea as u go on google and look up sexing blue crayfish thats where i found some info. then look up breeding blue crayfish.

its possible in a 10g as long as there are caves everywhere. but still riskey. the babys will have to be taken out and raise separately.

The mother carries the babies so u cld take her out of the breeding tank and move her to the fry tank. But u have to use a bubble filter. Because normal filters will suck up the baby crays....

rule of thumb is 10g per cray(babys dont count this number is just for ur adults) so a 20g should be good then a few 10's for the fry till u sell them
