PVC sounds like a great idea... How about bamboo? Anyone tried it yet? I asked my bro to send me some green ones with big enough holes for two Pleco. Is there any harm using a green bamboo?

You can buy bamboo in most craft stores or garden centers. Just make sure it's not treated. They are good fir caves as well. Inwould only use dried dead bamboo not fresh.

X2 but mine are not hypans they are Panaque and don't even touch the PVC.
 
Well I got some pvc today and some end caps. Im gonna be adding them to the tank when I get up. Ill make sure to post some pics of them and the rest f the tank. Wish me luck.
