breeding clown fish

do you need a sea annenemy to breed clown fish? i have a male and female and the male is always garding this decor vase in the tank and acting "fishy" HA......i tried to pick up the vase but they both attacked my hand so waht do you think that means?

No, not at all...All you basically need is a nice clean tank, low flow and an area for the clowns to attach them too...Commonly, people use some PVC or a ceramic tile for this..

Judging by their actions, i would say that the area in question is certainly their chosen breeding place...Always a good sign when this is witnessed...

and i thought clowfish were all male? then 1 turns into a female?

No, a 20 is sufficient...Yes, thats true...when two are introduced together in the aquarium, the larger one will become female..and then let the "fun" begin ;)
 
mines a 30 gal but soon im ganna buy or make a 75 gal should I leave them in ther or move them when the other tank is ready?
