I have a 10 gallon tank with a filter, gravel, heater, and a nice rock. The temperature is about 76 degrees right now. I was thinking about any kind of convicts, it would be nice to breed them. If a 10 gallon really is too small though, does anybody have any other suggestions for any cool fish that would go in a 10 gallon? Thanks.

Keyhole Cichlids, or Apistogramma sp fish would work. So would GBRs.

Yeah, blue rams are colorful. But they aren't as aggressive as other cichlids, are they?

Oh yeah, and also on this forums, Mystix212 said that I could breed convicts in a 10g. Would that work?

Rams, Apistos, anything that doesnt get over 3-4". Convicts will spawn in anything really, but I wouldnt advise breeding them in a 10G once they get past 3-4".

Why not? (Sorry, all these stories about breeding convicts has been tempting me...)

If not, I guess I could go for breeding guppies, maybe 1 male and 2 females.

Breeding guppies is like watching grass grow. Boring as hell. Why not try something unique and interesting?

That's just what I'm thinking. But what else can I breed pretty easily in a 10?
