Breeding flowerhorns in a 55 gallon.

So if I divide the tank I should be fine? Will I need to let them together to breed, or I heard the will breed through the divider if they are a pair.

And what do you think of the pair I'm going to get.

I like them, if they are already together no need to keep them divided, just do have a divider on hand incase of breeding agression, mine are divided at the moment because size differences
