I got a small store near me. I get about half what they sell the fish for in credit. So like if the fish was 10$ i get 5$ if there the same size good health and they can trust me.

But can't they get it for under $5 if they buy fish in bulk from some supplier?

I get store credit. they pay cash to the suplier so its a little different. and if i breed cons i would raise them to 2' or so. because they only have .5" babies usally.

You want to make some money...Breed illegal fish...lol....j/k.........The best thing about the monster community is the information we take in.....You want to make some money from the trade, learn how to setup and maintain tanks.....There are a number of lfs in the CIty that I am from that would say most of there income is not from fish, but from going to private homes and stting up tanks...

You from the BAy...Me to....I have been fortunate to work part time in a number of lfs in San Francisco.....I setup tanks for some of the customers if there are no employees available.....Like I mentioned before, the maintainance of tanks and equipment knowledge is a lot more spectacular to an owner than knowing how to breed....

only thing I've seen be really profitable is breeding koi out here in AZ. others seems to be less popular overall and you may not be able to sell from each spawn. koi seem to always fetch a good price and sell out.
